Maybourne Hotel Group, known for its iconic luxury hotels such as Claridge’s and The Connaught in London, is set to expand significantly over the next decade. The group plans to nearly triple its portfolio by 2035, targeting key global cities like Paris, New York, Miami, Dubai, and possibly Tokyo and Singapore. Currently, Maybourne operates six properties, with four in London and one each in Beverly Hills and the French Riviera. This ambitious expansion will see the addition of 9-11 more luxury properties, solidifying its position as a leader in the high-end travel market.

The luxury hotel sector has seen significant growth, driven by rising demand for premium travel experiences. With cities like London, Paris, and Milan witnessing soaring demand for luxury accommodations, Maybourne’s expansion comes at an opportune moment. One of the standout projects includes a hotel and serviced apartments in Paris’ Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, housed in a historic building once owned by the French Ministry of Defence. This addition will help the group expand its collection of landmark hotels in prime locations.

Alongside new openings, Maybourne is shifting its strategy to focus more on management contracts, with half of the new properties being managed rather than owned. This approach will allow the group to expand its brand presence without the capital costs associated with direct ownership.

In response to growing demand for exclusive services, Maybourne plans to launch a membership community offering special benefits across its hotels. Additionally, the group is expanding its wellness offerings, including licensing its spa and wellness brand. With these efforts, Maybourne is set to become a leading global name in luxury hospitality, offering unique, high-end experiences to travelers worldwide.
