Gucci, the Italian luxury fashion brand, has appointed Thai star Hoorne as its brand ambassador, making her the first Thai ambassador for the brand. Hoorne has a significant following on Instagram, with around 17 million followers, and she expressed her honour and gratitude for the opportunity to serve as a brand ambassador for both Gucci and Gucci Beauty.

This appointment is part of Gucci’s ongoing effort to diversify its roster of brand ambassadors, with a particular focus on recruiting ambassadors from Asian markets. Last summer, Gucci appointed its first-ever Indian ambassador, Alia Bhatt, and earlier this month, South Korean actress Gyuyoung Park was appointed as the brand’s latest global ambassador. This reflects Gucci’s strategy to engage with audiences in different Asian markets through the popularity and influence of these regional celebrities.

Hoorne and Park join other Gucci ambassadors from Asia, including Chinese actress Ni Ni and actor and singer Xiao Zhan. Gucci also has a mix of international brand ambassadors, including Kendall Jenner, Bad Bunny, Julia Garner, A$AP Rocky, and Elliott Page, demonstrating the brand’s global and diverse approach to marketing and promotion.
