The Australian city of Brisbane is set to welcome four new luxury hotels as part of the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf development, which will begin opening in stages from late August. This significant project aims to transform Brisbane's entertainment and leisure landscape.

The Queen’s Wharf precinct, operated by a joint venture between Star Entertainment Group, Far Eastern Consortium, and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, will introduce world-class accommodations and dining experiences to the Queensland capital.

The first hotel to open will be The Star Grand, a five-star property offering 340 rooms with views of the Brisbane River or the CBD. It will welcome guests from the end of August.

Next in line is the Dorsett Brisbane, a 4.5-star hotel with 387 guestrooms. The opening date is yet to be confirmed, but the hotel will feature shared facilities like conference centers, pools, spas, a gym, and an all-day dining venue.

The Rosewood, slated to be Australia’s only ultra-luxury six-star hotel, is expected to open in the third phase of the development, though its exact date is not yet set.

The final hotel in the development, The Treasury Brisbane, is undergoing extensive refurbishment. Currently for sale with no hotel group associated, this heritage property will complete the Queen’s Wharf project’s staggered rollout.
