Bloomingdale’s has announced a strategic partnership with luxury resale platform Rebag to enhance its luxury offerings and tap into the growing secondhand market. The collaboration introduces over 2,500 curated designer handbags, watches, and fine jewellery available online, with more than 500 pre-owned luxury items featured in custom-designed Rebag concessions at five select Bloomingdale's stores across the U.S.

The in-store Rebag concessions, located on the accessories floor, will be available at major locations including The Mall at Short Hills, White Plains in New York, Town Center at Boca Raton, Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, and Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego.

Rebag’s CEO and founder, Charles Gorra, highlighted the partnership as a blend of first-hand and second-hand luxury, aiming to elevate the retail experience for Bloomingdale's clientele. The partnership also allows Bloomingdale's shoppers to sell and receive offers for their luxury items directly at the store, facilitated by Rebag's AI-powered valuation tool, CLAIR.

The Rebag x Bloomingdale's collection launched online on August 8, with in-store concessions opening soon after. This partnership underscores Bloomingdale's commitment to expanding its luxury market presence while promoting sustainable shopping practices.
