Rutland Square is a Chai Spiced Scottish Spirits company with a rich personal story and cultural heritage. A story which begins in India and travels across the globe to Scotland, mixing two cultures in the form of our unique and diverse drinks. We innovatively, produce the world's 1st Single Estate White Oolong Tea-based spirits.

A purpose-led company with the White Oolong Tea picked by 14 women on the founders ancestral land in Assam, a beautiful but very remote part of India and the Tea capital of the world. There is a sex disparity in this part of the world where the women are unemployed or underpaid so we a) Pay them equal to men b) Support them and c) They have more delicate hands for picking the White Oolong Tea leaves - to produce not only a beautiful bottle, but a bottle with a conscience.

While in India on a family trip, the founder realised his passion whilst being inspired by his great grandfather Tej Ram who, from a humble beginning in Dibrugarh, Assam, the land of Tea, started a fledgling whisky blending enterprise. Using his legacy, he wanted to revive the enterprise, so he decided to create a unique blend of spirits starting with gin using India's finest tea and Scotland, our home, the land of spirits with the purest of water.
