Cartier has inaugurated its flagship boutique at Sydney Airport’s SYD X shopping precinct. Spanning 170 square meters, this boutique showcases Cartier’s jewellery and watch collections, along with a selection of accessories, including leather goods, fragrances, and gifts.

The boutique’s facade draws inspiration from Sydney Harbour’s yachts, featuring four sails standing at over 7 meters tall against a backdrop of champagne-coloured mesh.

With Cartier’s arrival, the SYD X shopping precinct is now complete, hosting a roster of prestigious brands, including Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Celine, Loewe, and the newly opened Versace. Construction of this luxury shopping precinct began in October 2019, continued through the pandemic, and was completed in December 2022. The precinct’s footprint expanded to 2,700 square meters, and the ceiling height nearly doubled from 4 meters to almost 10 meters.

SYD X officially opened its doors in February 2023, offering 18 luxury brands under one roof. Mark Zaouk, Executive General Manager Commercial at Sydney Airport, commented, “With Cartier’s arrival, we have the final addition to our luxury precinct, SYD X. After years of planning and development, we now have 20 of the world’s top global brands all in one place. Sydney Airport has become a prominent player in the luxury market, offering an extensive collection of exclusive travel retail unmatched in the southern hemisphere. As international passenger numbers continue to grow, SYD X has become a popular choice for travellers looking to indulge in luxury before their flights.”

Cartier’s presence at SYD X signifies a new chapter in luxury retail, solidifying Sydney Airport’s position as a prime destination for discerning shoppers. As the precinct continues to attract a global elite clientele, the allure of luxury at SYD X reaches new heights.
