Ralph Lauren Launches First Canada Store

Ralph Lauren Corporation is strategically expanding its presence in Canada by launching dedicated digital commerce and opening its first Ralph Lauren store in Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre. This expansion is part of the company’s broader plans to strengthen its retail presence in Canada, in addition to its existing wholesale and outlet stores in the region. Toronto is one of the top 30 global cities where Ralph Lauren aims to establish a comprehensive omni-channel ecosystem.

In the coming years, Ralph Lauren intends to open several more stores across Canada as part of its growth strategy.

The new online platform is set to launch on October 11, offering the complete portfolio of Ralph Lauren’s brands, including Purple Label, Ralph Lauren Collection, Polo Ralph Lauren, Double RL, and Lauren. The website will feature a wide range of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, accessories, footwear, and select home items. While the initial launch will be in English, the company is considering a French-language version for Quebec in the future.

The newly opened store in Yorkdale will carry various Ralph Lauren brands, including men’s Purple Label and women’s collection, as well as a curated selection from Polo Ralph Lauren’s men’s and women’s collections. Located in a prime retail location in Canada, the store is designed to offer dedicated client services such as private styling appointments, alterations and repairs, and made-to-measure tailoring options.

This strategic expansion aligns with Ralph Lauren Corporation’s ‘Next Great Chapter: Accelerate’ strategy, which aims to achieve sustainable, long-term growth and value creation. It complements the brand’s expansion efforts in North America, Asia, and Europe, focusing on creating elevated consumer ecosystems through flagship stores, boutiques, outlets, wholesale partnerships, and digital platforms.
