Marriott reaches a new milestone with 500th Luxury Hotel

Marriott International, Inc. has reached a significant milestone with the opening of its 500th luxury hotel, reinforcing its position as a leader in the luxury hospitality sector.

The announcement was made at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Cannes. Marriott boasts an extensive portfolio of luxury hotel brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, EDITION, JW Marriott, and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. This diverse range of brands allows Marriott to offer a variety of luxury experiences, pushing the boundaries of experiential travel.

The 500th luxury property is The St. Regis Riyadh, contributing to Marriott’s formidable portfolio that now spans 69 countries and territories. The company has plans to open five new hotels in the final weeks of 2023 in both established and emerging destinations worldwide. Looking ahead, Marriott has over 200 luxury hotels and resorts in its global development pipeline, with 24 properties expected to open in 2024.
