It’s “collections” season, and Jimmy Choo has embraced the nostalgic vibe of the 1990s in its latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection, weaving together the Maison’s formative years with the glamour of the era to reaffirm its identity.

This season, Jimmy Choo masterfully blends rugged biker-inspired styles with refined feminine silhouettes, striking a balance between daring and delicate. Luxurious materials like supple leather and silk collide to create a textured elegance that pays homage to the sophistication of London and the refined allure of New York.

Drawing inspiration from its archives, Jimmy Choo introduces iconic styles like the Brooklyn biker, capturing the essence of Brooklyn’s rise in the ’90s with ankle and knee-high iterations for versatile styling options. The Marlow Diamond, a creeper-loafer hybrid featuring the signature Jimmy Choo Diamond buckle, adds a touch of elevated style with its platformed sole.

Trompe l’oeil design triumphs in the Carolyn silhouette, seamlessly merging a Mary Jane mule with a navy sock boot, infusing a dose of ’90s energy into the collection. The Scarlett, crafted from buttery “Postbox Red” leather, offers kitten heel and ankle boot styles in various iterations, adding a bold statement to any ensemble.

In addition to shoes, the collection boasts a selection of accessories, including the Diamond Tote and Diamond Shoulder bags, combining everyday functionality with chic sophistication fit for any occasion.

Sandra Choi, Creative Officer at Jimmy Choo, describes the collection as “a quintessentially British interpretation of a ladylike aesthetic,” reminiscing on the eclectic blend of minimalism and eccentricity that defined the 1990s. With its timeless appeal and contemporary edge, Jimmy Choo’s FW24 offering pays homage to the Maison’s iconic legacy while embracing the spirit of the ’90s with modern flair.
