Lanvin has launched an elegant women’s ready-to-wear boutique at the prestigious Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris, enhancing the department store’s appeal as a prime destination for retail tourists.
This new space complements Lanvin’s existing footwear collection on the shoe level, firmly establishing Lanvin Galeries Lafayette as a premier location to explore the Maison’s world in Paris. Notably, the opening of Galeries Lafayette in 1893, just four years before the birth of the Lanvin fashion house, underscores the historical significance of this collaboration between two iconic Parisian institutions.
The boutique’s design adheres to Lanvin’s recently introduced retail architectural concept, featuring a “wood-and-stone showcase of neo-classical inspiration and subtle Art Deco influence.” This design, crafted by Bernard Dubois, reflects elements of Auguste Perret’s octagonal constructions, burnished brass and hand-hammered surfaces, and the sculptural forms of Pierre Frey’s Litho armchairs. The space exudes the radical sensuality of Jean-Michel Frank’s interiors through its choice of the finest materials.
Following successful launches in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Seoul, Riyadh, and South Coast Plaza, Galeries Lafayette becomes the seventh location to adopt Dubois’ design. The new boutique has debuted with Lanvin’s autumn 2024 collection, showcasing a range of day and evening pieces, accessories, and the increasingly popular jewellery line, including the newly launched Traviata line.
Adding to the excitement, selected pieces from Lanvin’s collection will be displayed in the grand windows along Boulevard Haussmann this summer. Additionally, an exclusive Lanvin Ballerina pop-up will be featured in July, presenting a wide array of styles and colours of the brand’s renowned shoe.
This new boutique at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann represents a significant milestone for Lanvin, further cementing its status as the oldest continually operating French couture house and a leader in luxury fashion.
