Community-Owned Distillery of the Year - Scotland 2025

Nestled amongst the foothills of Ben Wyvis in the Scottish Highlands, GlenWyvis marks the return of distilling to Dingwall after nearly 100 years. Founded in 2015, the distillery combines modern technology with a traditional process, harnessing renewable energy from wind, rain, and sun while a biomass boiler supplies steam for two small copper pot stills. GlenWyvis Distillery is one of the largest Community Benefit Societies in the UK, crowdfunded by almost 4000 members with a portion of proceeds going back to the local community through our Goodwill Fund.
